Last week, some of the worlds largest producers of additive technologies were showcasing their latest machines and 3D Prints at FormNext. Some of the Digital Forming team were lucky enough to visit Frankfurt for the day to visit some customers and have a look around the show to see the latest developments in the world of 3D Printing Technologies.
We found that FDM technologies are being more and more influenced by the need in industry for bigger prints at lower prices, with machines being developed with build volumes that rival those of laser sintering and stereolithography machines. Some of the FDM machines were building pieces nearly 1m cubed in volume, pretty impressive!!
There were lots of exciting things to see, including metal printers, 3D Printed Cars, jewellery, shoes, chairs and much more! We took some pictures to share with you. Let us know what you think!
